Palermo Viejo
As its name suggests, the oldest part of Palermo. Centred on Plaza Palermo Viejo, the barrio reflects an older Spanish style in architecture, often “recycled” with modern elements. Well-known figures like Jorge Luis Borges and Che Guevara once lived in this area. Historically a residential area, these days it remains so but is also a great area for restaurants and trendy boutique shops.

Palermo Hollywood
Palermo Hollywood is an area adjacent to Palermo Viejo, just across the train tracks.
